A revision guide just for you!

I was speaking to a student recently who narrowly failed the exam. Why was this? He had good intentions and studied the material, but unfortunately his planning let him down. With so much information needed for the Case Study exam, it can sometimes be overwhelming. It's tempting to give more attention to certain theories or texts, but this needs to be more balanced.

Fear not, however, if you struggle with this – Astranti have a general study plan right here. Don't worry about sticking to the exact dates, as I know that you are all very busy, but this can be used as a helpful guide for your CIMA journey.

Revision Guideline	We appreciate that many of our students are very busy, so much of this work is a rough outline of what you should be doing. However, for course students the key deadlines, such as the mocks and masterclasses, must be met in order to achieve the Pass Guarantee.
March 2017
Fri 31st	Official CIMA pre-seen release date - carefully read through the pre-seen case study.
April 2017
Mon 3rd	Official Course Start Date. Begin to work  your way through the Pre-seen Materials. These pre-seen case study materials helps to build an excellent foundation in preparation for the exam. Many students find the 20 pages of the pre-seen material quite daunting. The videos takes you through the whole document and highlights the important areas for you to focus on
Wed 5th	Watch the Course Videos and read through Study Text Part 1 - watch these to cement your knowledge of what's needed to pass the exam. We recommend these should be watched in synchrony with the study text part 1 chapters.
Fri 7th	Read through Study Text Part 2 - Study Text Part 2 should be read continuously throughout the course. The Study Text Part 2 is a condensed version of our E2, F2 and P2 texts and particularly focuses on those areas most relevant to the case study, saving you time and helping you focus on application to the preseen.
Mon 10th	Work through the Ethics Pack- The Ethics Pack is a combination of a video and an e-book which covers a subject that regularly appears in the exam, and which many candidates overlook.
Wed 12th	Marker assigned to you
Sat 15th	Attend Masterclass 1 - (Watch the recorded version during the week if you are unable to attend the live session).
Sun 23rd	Mock 1 deadline - Complete mock and send to your marker
Mon 24th	Study our Mock 1 solutions
Tues 25th - Sat 29th	Review Mock 1 feedback when returned by marker
Sun 30th	Mock 2 deadline - Complete mock and send to your marker
May 2017
Mon 1st	Study our Mock 2 solutions
Tues 2nd - Sat 6th	Study our Mock 2 solutions. Review Mock 2 feedback when returned by marker
Sun 7th	Mock 3 deadline - Complete mock and send to your marker
Mon 8th	Study our Mock 3 solutions
Tues 9th - Fri 12th	Review Mock 3 feedback when returned by marker
Sat 13th	Masterclass 2 - (Watch the recorded version during the week if you are unable to attend the live session)
Tues 16th - Sat 20th	Real exam
